EC261/UK 261 Compensation
Passengers on flights within Europe, from Europe, or to Europe on a European airline may earn up to $650 in compensation for flights:
1. Flight delays
Arrival delays of 3 hours or more could lead to compensation up to $650 depending on flight length.
25% of flights are delayed each day
2. Flight cancelations
You could be owed $650 if your flight was canceled within 14 days of your intended departure.
1-3% of flights are canceled per day
3. Tarmac delays
Tarmac delays are uncomfortable, but oftentimes compensable if they last 3 hours or more.
